Dear Betsy

Happy Birthday! What a milestone! NEXUS is celebrating their 50th season right now, so it is a momentous year for them as well.

I still remember with great fondness our time together at the conferences in New York City and our outings. I learned a great deal from you and – you will laugh – I am still in awe of your files (I inherited them) – so beautifully clear and organized. Stay safe and well through this unusual and surreal time that we are all dealing with. Life certainly does have interesting twists and turns, and while you no doubt have experienced a great many since 1930, clearly Life has few more to send our way! Have a wonderful celebration with many more to come. Wishing you continued happiness, and a very special birthday.

Can this really be?….my dear fellow soprano for many years, singing with David and now I hear you are turning 90 July 14!! A truly momentous an occasion. May your day be filled with joy as all your dear ones gather around you even if virtually. We oldsters cherish so many fond memories singing together. Happy Birthday Betsy?? Miss you.
