From the four children of Betsy Moyer:
 
On July 14, our amazing mother, Betsy Moyer will be turning 90! It’s hard to believe, as she is as engaged and vital as ever. As you know, she and Bill are living at Newbury Court retirement community in Concord MA. She is involved in everything there and throughout the Concord area, from conducting a madrigal group, participating in book clubs, writing groups, choruses, a recorder group, a nature photography group, organizing the playing of videos of operas for the residents, etc. Now during this period of isolation caused by the coronavirus, she is playing piano recitals for the community’s closed circuit television station.
 
While a big celebration is impossible, what would be as meaningful to her would be if she heard from her friends. Please send a letter, card or email to Fred Moyer (contact info below). A sentence or two is fine —  just to let her know you are thinking of her. We will assemble everything into a scrapbook and present it to her. (Email is fine — we’ll print it and include it in the scrapbook.)
 
Please get this to Fred by July 3 so that we have time to put it together. Thanks. And shhh! Don’t tell her!
